Applicants can choose one of the following categories:
Research
Researchers must demonstrate the significance of their proposed research for India and/or the United States. The project should be feasible within the fellowship duration and clearly justify why it needs to be conducted in the U.S.
Teaching
Applicants proposing teaching activities should explain the courses they plan to teach, their teaching methodology, curriculum development experience, academic leadership roles, and expected impact on students and institutions.
Research and Teaching
This category combines both activities. Applicants must clearly indicate the percentage of time dedicated to research and teaching. For example, 60% research and 40% teaching.
