AKTU Issues Notice to Pratapgarh Engineering College Over Missing Practical Marks for 2023-24 & 2024-25 Sessions

Lucknow, December 2025: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh, has sent an official notice to Bharat Ratna Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Government Engineering College, Pratapgarh (Institute Code 1216) after it was found that the institute did not upload internal and external practical marks for multiple semesters of the 2023-24 and 2024-25 academic sessions.

The letter, issued under Office Order No. AKTU/P-Exam/2025/2370, states that the missing marks have directly affected result updates on the AKTU ERP portal, prompting the university to demand an urgent explanation from the college administration.

What the AKTU Notice Says

According to AKTU, the college had earlier sent a communication—
Letter No. 477 / R030 / Pratapgarh / 2025, dated 17 November 2025
regarding pending results. After reviewing the matter, the university confirmed that:

  • Internal practical marks for several subjects were not uploaded.
  • External practical marks for a number of courses also remain unsubmitted.
  • These missing entries have delayed the result processing for many students.

AKTU states that without the submission of complete marks, student results cannot be updated, which could impact progression, back-paper evaluation, and final mark sheets.

Clear Report Demanded From the Institute

The notice, signed by Prof. Rajeev Kumar, Controller of Examinations (In-Charge), AKTU, instructs the institute to provide a clear and immediate explanation for the delay.

The university has emphasized the seriousness of the matter, directing the institute to submit its report “as early as possible” so that pending results can be processed.

Copies of the notice have also been forwarded to:

  • Joint/Deputy Controller of Examinations, AKTU
  • Staff Officer to the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, AKTU, for review

Impact on Students

The missing marks are likely to affect:

  • Odd and Even semester results of sessions 2023-24 & 2024-25
  • SGPA/CGPA calculations
  • Back-paper results
  • Final transcripts and degree processing

Students from the affected batches may notice incomplete or withheld results on the ERP portal until the college uploads the required data.

Why This Notice Matters

Such notices highlight ongoing challenges in exam data management within affiliated colleges. Since AKTU processes results strictly based on ERP submissions, any delay from the institute directly impacts students.

The university has taken a strict stance, making it clear that result delays due to non-submission of marks will not be tolerated.

What Happens Next

  • Once verification is complete, AKTU will update affected student results.

The university is expected to take further action depending on the institute’s response.
