AKTU Placement Portal 2025 – Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, has officially announced the launch of its new Placement Portal 2025 in association with the Department of Technical Education. This step is being taken to enhance job opportunities for final-year students across all affiliated colleges of AKTU. The notification was issued on 23rd August 2025 by Prof. Neelam Srivastava, Dean – Training & Placement, IET Lucknow.
This placement portal aims to connect students with recruiters, streamline the placement process, and ensure better coordination between colleges, placement cells, and companies. In the circular, AKTU has clearly mentioned the responsibilities of directors, T&P officers, and students for successful registration and participation in upcoming placement drives.

Step-by-Step Process as per AKTU Circular
The official circular has outlined the flow of actions for directors, T&P officers, and students. The steps are as follows:
Step 1 – Login for Directors
All directors of AKTU-affiliated and associated colleges will receive their User ID and Password on their registered mobile numbers by 25th August 2025 (12:00 PM).
- They must log in as a Secondary User through the following link: https://urise.up.gov.in/user/login.
- After login, each director has to nominate one person from the college who is responsible for Training & Placement activities.
Step 2 – Nomination of T&P Officer
The nominated T&P officer will receive an invitation link via email, as provided by the director.
- Using this link, the T&P officer must log in as a Tertiary User and complete the registration.
- This step ensures that every college has an active placement officer linked with the new placement portal.
Step 3 – Student Registration
Once the T&P officers are registered, they must inform all final-year students of every stream to register on the portal.
- Students must use this link: https://urise.up.gov.in/student/register.
- While registering, students will need to provide their Roll Number and Date of Birth to complete their profiles.
- Completing the resume section is mandatory as it will be used by recruiters during placement drives.

After completing the registration process, students will not only get access to upcoming placement drives but also to upskilling training programs offered by AKTU and Technical Education.
